It is a minimally invasive procedure that is used to reduce pain in resistant cases. Radio wave produce an electric current which heats up a small area of nerve tissues and curbs pain signals from that specific area.

a. How long does it take to start the effect?

Pain relief usually starts 2 to 3weeks after the procedure to get a noticeable relief.

b. Are there any complication/ side effects?

Numbness, initial discomfort is usually seen in the early stages. Very rarely.

c. Do I need rest after the procedure?

It is generally recommended to avoid any activities due to possible pain for next 24 to 48 hours. One can resume normal activities after that.

d. How long does the effect stay after the procedure?

Though the pain relief is lasting up to 6 months to 1 year depending on the nerve regeneration the pain might recur after that if the impending cause is not removed.
